I specifically looked at NeuroFuzzy methods and Genetic algorithms to aid in the classification of lead integrity.• Key developer on the Atrial Rhythm Classifier project. Delivered a classification system that interprets rhythms based on timing and signal amplitude information, applying known properties of how devices view different rhythms.• Lead developer on the MegaSim Heart Simulator application that was used to test devices and algorithms under various heart conditions. Developed software to perform data analysis and 2-D graphics to warn field engineers about possible borehole deviations.• Surveying, concrete testing, environmental assessments, and laboratory soil tests.• Developed software that automated the process of generating Borehole Log sheets from field data. This software increased the user's productivity by 50% and was later sold to other geotechnical consulting companies. From September 1991 to May 1992 (9 months) Geological Engineer @ US Bureau of Mines • Research, design, and development of various software tools for mining and geophysical applications, including tomographic imaging, signal processing, expert systems, neural networks, and fuzzy logic.• Developed an automated data acquisition system for the geomechanics laboratory.• Developed software to interface a drilling apparatus to the computer for real-time measurements of various parameters for analysis of chemically-enhanced borehole drilling.• Project leader in the development of an expert system and geomechanical assessment technology for evaluating potential in-situ mining deposits.
