📖 Summary

I'm currently studying Networks Technology and IT-security at University West and will graduate in June 2016. This is the second and final year of my College degree. I chose to study Networks Technology and IT-security due to my previous experience working in IT at the municipality of Karlskrona, Sweden, where I got to work with the different aspects of both hardware, software, and networks infrastructure which services about 3 000 users and even more devices. I currently aspire to make a career in Network Design, Consulting, and Architecture as these summarize most of my main interests in regards to network technologies. I have an interest in building redundant, scalable, and secure networks while also incorporating secure end to end communication between devices even if data have to traverse other networks. I find companies who educate their employees an incredibly attractive trait which is something I look for in an employer as it shows trust and a willingness to invest in an employee. The ultimate position would also include opportunities to meet and work directly with customers and clients. From a professional point of view I hope I'm perceived as analytical, organized, and dependable. I will always speak my mind and give you my opinions on the assignment and procedure due to my analytical nature, but I have no need to have anything done my way. Since I like to speak my mind I request employers and colleagues do the same to me since I value honesty, independently of either negative or positive criticism. I believe in a professional environment you need to accept change and different approaches to reach a goal even if that approach isn't what you're comfortable with. I'm always eager to learn and never satisfy with knowing how to solve a problem; I want to know why the problem occurred, how it works, why it works, and most of all how it can be improved.Network Engineer | Network Administrator | Network Technician @ From December 2015 to Present (1 month) IT Technician @ Temporary position during the summer as IT Technician, primarily in First and Second Line but also assisting colleagues with network maintenance, planning, and configuration. Offered the position as the employer knows how I work and can depend on me being professional with clients, either by phone, mail, or in person. From June 2015 to August 2015 (3 months) System Administrator @ Temporary position as System Administrator and assists colleagues that requests it. I have also assisted the Network Technicians with administrative and technical assignments. During this time I was responsible for integrating ArcGIS and a voting system into the municipality while also helping the Network Technicians measure the amount of Access Points needed and their placement as a majority of every High-School was expanding their Wireless coverage. Planning resulted in an order of 200 Access Points where I was responsible for configuration which took three days. From November 2013 to August 2014 (10 months) Karlskrona, SwedenIntern @ Internship where I started out in Helpdesk, primarily Second-line. I then assisted the network technicians with maintaining the internal Aruba-net and on-site troubleshooting. This is where I first got proper insight in IT and Networks Technologies. I got to help clients with hardware, software, and network issues either by phone, mail, or in person. This is where I learned how I'm perceived in the service by clients, and it brought me joy and pride to use my skills and knowledge to help them. I also learned that most people like quick solutions to their problems, by phone in this case, but a client is always more appreciative when you fix it in person.
