The simulator generated uniform load at specified percentile rates in the form of feed reads and message writes, along with intermittent traffic peaks. From June 2015 to September 2015 (4 months) Web Developer @ Help build and maintain a Django web application for diabetic patients as part of a medical study concerning the impact of social networks on patient health. Fully responsible for handling all front-end and back-end development on the project. From March 2015 to June 2015 (4 months) Climbing Wall Supervisor @ Oversee climbing wall check-ins, belay certification tests, and ensure the safety and satisfaction of our climbers. From October 2014 to April 2015 (7 months) CS106 Section Leader @ Lead a 1-hour, weekly discussion section with 10 students, going over fundamental topics in computer science. Evaluate student assignments on the basis of functionality and style, and hold weekly one-on-one interactive grading sessions with each student. Work at the LaIR each week to help students understand their assignments and resolve bugs. From September 2014 to December 2014 (4 months) Software Engineering Intern @ Designed and implemented the "vocabulary pipeline," a protocol for updating the ontology-based back end of Syapse's product. The project culminated in a Python-driven web application with the ability to convert a wide range of medical data files into company-standard flat files, access the data from the application through an API layer, and manage them on an admin console page. From June 2014 to September 2014 (4 months) Research Assistant @ From 2012-2013, worked with research manager Isabella Chu to build a HIPAA-compliant research registry. Communicated with clinic managers and managed the registry database. We successfully recruited over 700 patients for the research registry by the summer of 2013.
From 2013-2014, collaborated with data managers and clinicians on a variety of data projects. Helped recruit patients and physicians for several focus group sessions in order to perform user research on various forms of chronic kidney disease medication advertising.
