Entrepreneurial Product & Engineering Executive, Ken JacksonI have worked in the engineering industry for over 10 years. I have worked in a number of different industries, but have always found that starting an engineering company is the most rewarding experience. When I was hired as an entrepreneurship product and engineering executive at Inventive Group, Inc. (IW), I was very excited to be a part of a company that was focused on developing custom software applications for companies of all sizes. In my role, I was responsible for leading the vision for Volusion's product roadmap & delivery and helping eliminate technological debt. I also played a role in developing the team, infrastructure, and culture for the company. I truly appreciate the opportunity to work in the engineering field and strive to deliver the highest quality products and services to my clients.

Ken Jackson's education hasleft him with a passion for technology and a cautious approach with technology security. His undergraduate education in Electronics Engineering Technology at Texas A&M University taught him how to design, program, and test electrical and electronic devices. This experience taught him how to develop and test ways to avoid vulnerabilities in electronic systems. His clinical experience with malware scanners in the field taught him how to use those scanners to identify and fix vulnerabilities in malware-infected systems. His adult education in system security and malware investigation from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, taught him how to use scanners and intrusion detection systems to prevent attacks on computer systems.Jackson's work experience has included a number of 374 transactions bug fixes as a bug hunter for Version 7 of the Cisco IOS family of systems software, 352 system security incidents during his time at University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, and 248 system security incidents during his time as a systems security investigator for the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency.Jackson is certified in the Microsoft Dynamics AX2000 product and is a member of the Microsoft Security Foundation. He is also certified in the Symantec Anti-Virus suite and in the Windows Defender QuickFix Tool.
