Our business outcome focussed proposition is driven by solutions designed with our customers, supported by visibility and control and a commitment to end to end accountability. Alternative was established in 1994, and has grown both organically and through strategic acquisitions of businesses, each identified to successfully meet the needs of a rapidly developing market and an increasingly demanding and discerning customer environment. Our vision is to become the leading IT managed services provider for UK businesses. From October 2014 to Present (1 year 3 months) Head of Platinum Accounts @ Responsible for leading a team of 20 sales individuals, ranging from desk-based Account Managers to Client Directors, all focused on supporting Azzurri's Top 40 Managed Service customers. My personal ambition in this role is to ensure that each customer receives the very best level of service from Azzurri and that they always feel able to recommend us as a 'safe pair of hands'. People always talk about 'Trusted Advisor' status and 'extension of the team', but in reality this is a utopia that is hard to achieve, takes a long time, and requires a huge amount of focus and dedication from the Account Management team. I am delighted to say that my team have an excellent record in achieving this status with a number of key accounts, some of which are now on their 3rd renewal in 10 years, and these same customers would all be comfortable in confirming how beneficial this level of partnership is, for both organizations. From July 2011 to October 2014 (3 years 4 months) Regional Client Director @ Responsible for a team of 23 Account Managers and 6 Client Directors supporting 300 Platinum & Enterprise Voice, Data & Mobility customers in the South of England. From January 2010 to July 2011 (1 year 7 months) Client Director @ Managing a team of internal and fields sales & service accounts managers, who support me in retaining and growing an existing customer base totalling £10M in annualized revenues. Joined Sirocom Limited in April 2002 who were acquired by Azzurri Communications in October 2006. From April 2008 to December 2009 (1 year 9 months) Account Manager then Account Director @ Managing a number of strategic Voice & Data customers for Sirocom and then Azzurri post Sirocom's acquisition in October 2006. From 2002 to 2008 (6 years) Sales Executive @ Professional Display Systems, now known as Avnet Technology Solutions are the UK sole distributors for EIZO LCD screens. I sold into the Finance vertical so predominantly The City, with new business wins at Tullet & Tokyo, UBS Asset Management and Cantor Fitzgerald.
