Katrin Kalden is a developer and product leader for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) products. She has worked on a wide range of Bluetooth platforms, including development of the Bluetooth Low Energy Core Profile and RFCOMM. She is also responsible for developing the Bluetooth Low Energy Handheld Profile, Bluetooth Low Energy Vehicle Profile, Bluetooth Low Energy Home profile, and Bluetooth Low Energy PAT Profile.In her previous positions, Katrin Kalden has enhanced the performance and diversity of Bluetooth products. She was responsible for the development of Bluetooth Low Energy Serial Experiments on aBroadband Network (BLE Serial Experiments On broadband network = BLE, also known as Serial CDMA/Ethernetworking), a workinggroup to improve Bluetooth Low Energy security and interoperability, and a backwards incompatible rewrite of the Bluetooth Low Energy Host driver.Before joining BLOCKCHAIN WERKSTATT INC, Katrin Kalden was Vice President of Marketing and Advertising at the insurer Allianz SE.
