Kathi Tevlin's Current Education:Kathi Tevlin is a recent graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing. Kathi is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Social Work at The Ohio State University. Kathi has a long history of accomplishment in her family and professional worlds. Kathi's parents, Dick and Karen Tevlin, own and operated a successful restaurant in Hartford, Connecticut for over 20 years. Kathi's siblings include John, Julie, and Eileen. Kathi's father is also a 48-year veteran of the Hartford Fire Department. Kathi and her mother are both active members of their community and have currently retired from their restaurant. Kathi's devout Christian faith has been a driving force in her life and has led her to pursue an educated career in social work. Kathi is the niece of Ira Tevlin, the CEO of Diamond Proelite (now a division of Mohawk diamond company), one of the largest diamond companies in the world. Kathi is the proud granddaughter of Maurice and Adele Tevlin, two of the original inductees into the Connecticut Academy of Commerce and Industry. Kathi's brothers John and Julie graduate from Yale and Vanderbilt, respectively, in 2013. Kathi is the granddaughter of Greenbaum Jewelers; her brothers John and Julie are the sons of Greenbaum's curator, Emanuel and Clara Greenbaum.
