Kate Zakharova's education has encompassed a variety of different fields, including Philology and its various branches, which include Literature, History, Soviet and Russian Literature, Philosophy, and East European Studies. She has also had training in Russian Language and Literatures, German Language and Literatures, and East European Studies.Zakharova has worked as a freelance English teacher in Europe for the past five years. She has also been a research associate in the Department of East European Studies at the University of Cambridge.Zakharova is currently an Assistant Professor at the Sixtiesanti-L pause at the University of Kyiv, where she is also the coordinator of the English course for the postgraduate students. She is also a member of the editorial board of the journal “PBSK”.At the moment, Kate Zakharova’s research projects focus on the following topics:- Dryadic culture in Northeast Siberia, during the Earlykovsklast period (9th-12th centuries AD), and its influence on the development of Russian land and peasant society- The development of the Russian 準文學: history, philosophy, language, and criticism in the period from 1850 to 1917- “The Russian novel in the Twentieth century: from Leo Tolstoy to Boris Godunov”- " Literary modernity in the Soviet Union, 1917-1991"

Her current work experience spends most of her time as a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, and/ortranslation consultant in various tech startups, business Development Manager for aChinese translation services, Business Strategist for a Strategic Communications Agency, and Disruptive Thinking Trainer.
