Firefox Release Engineering Student Worker @ From September 2015 to Present (2 months) Greater Los Angeles AreaRelease Management Intern @ • Developing and helping to redesign the front-end code for the Release Notes for Firefox with HTML, CSS.
• Actively triaging bugs, approving uplifts, and participating in management activities for Firefox Desktop release.
• Came up with the first ever Firefox Release Survey which increased developer participation in release post-mortem discussions.
• Wrote several analytics measuring tools for release regressions and crashes using the Bugzilla and Socorro A.P.I. as well as ChartJS. From June 2015 to August 2015 (3 months) San Francisco Bay AreaMobile Quality Assurance Engineering Intern @ I worked on creating and managing the test plan and test cases for the Find My Device application. I created an entire suite of tests in MozTrap and helped debug the new Find My Device feature. I also contributed to running and investigating some automated tests for Firefox O.S. I used Bugzilla to report and track bugs, and participated in bug triages leading to release. In my spare time, I developed several new Firefox O.S. applications to help with development and Q.A. From May 2014 to August 2014 (4 months) Mountain View, CAAnimation Technology Platform Services Intern @ Worked with Python Flask, HTML 5 Canvas, and Twitter Bootstrap to extract information about the platform and create an interactive web dashboard for tracking and managing system requirements. Learned about maintaining a Java-based platform used for mission-critical data storage, indexing and search, retrieval and caching to desktop clients and mobile devices at DreamWorks. Developed an understanding of working with a website with Javascript elements, and the process of automating testing for websites with JS elements, SQL queries, and other important components.
Using Selenium IDE and Robot Framework to help create a prototype of an automated test suite using these components. From July 2013 to January 2014 (7 months) Woodland Hills, CACampus Representative at USC @ I promoted Apple products on campus and provide technical and informational expertise. Hosted multiple on-campus events including Summer Orientation for new students, tech events, and personalized workshops.
