Karl Schledwitz is Chairman & CEO of Monogram Food Solutions, Inc. Over the past 20 years, Karl has raised over $120 million of private capital, mostly within Memphis to build four businesses. For each of these companies, Karl developed the business plan, raised the money and served as founding chairman. He has had three companies make the Inc. 5000’s Fastest Growing Companies list with Monogram Foods making the list the past four years in a row. Additionally, Karl is a real estate developer and investor with his partners in Southland Companies.

Founded in 2004, Monogram Food Solutions began operations when a group of Memphis investors purchased King Cotton and Circle B Brand foods from Sara Lee Corporation of Chicago. King Cotton and Circle B are among the leading brands in retail sales of hot dogs, corn dogs, sandwich meats, and smoked sausages in the Memphis and Mid-South area. Since then, Monogram has grown through acquisitions and facility expansions to become a major player in the U.S. meat industry. Monogram has more than 1,400 employees and over $250 million in revenue. From March 2004 to Present (11 years 10 months) Chairman @ Southland Companies is a real estate development and investment company founded by Karl & Gail Schledwitz and Terry Lynch. Current projects/investments include: • Chisca Hotel – $25MM conversion of this downtown historic site to apartments • One Commerce Square – 30-story office building in downtown Memphis; Center City Commission Vision Award (2011) • Pinnacle Airways Office Complex – 3 buildings (80K Sq.
