Prior to coming to Convergys, Karen spent 14 years in HR and Learning at American Modern Insurance Group (AMIG). She provided leadership and HR consulting to a team of over 1,500 independent insurance companies across 17 states. At American Modern Insurance Group, Karen helped to develop and maintain a effective and positive HR department that contributed to overall success at the company.Her previous experience as head of HR and learning at Kendle International made her the best match for the role of VP, Human Resources / PMO at Kendle International. At Kendle International, Karen managed an HR function that employed over 200 people and reported to the CEO. She was responsible for the development and implementation of HR strategy, managed payroll, offer and acceptance of new hires, HR communication and compliance, and training.Karen first joined the company in February 2007 as an postings intern.
