Student Ambassador @ As a Brighton student ambassador, I volunteered to help out the freshers during 2 weeks of freshers in 2013 and worked as an ambassador during the University Open days. During Open days, my role involved me in showing potential undergraduate applicants around the University facilities and interest them in the Mathematics courses run by Brighton University. In addition to this, during the 2015 University clearing period, I was on calls for 12 hrs a day, interacting with A-level students and gaining insight on which courses they could attend while helping out those who were unsure about their decisions. From September 2013 to August 2015 (2 years) Brighton, United KingdomSummer Internship @ My six-week placement as a student intern was in the company's' marketing department. Over this time I was working on a project regarding the company’s questionnaire of ‘What makes a great Data Scientist’. This involved me in analysing past reports of the marketing department and carrying out data mining on the results of the questionnaire using Enterprise guide. Following on from the data mining, I used Visual Analytics to model the results and produced a report interpreting them. This was then used to give a presentation to members of the Marketing, Human Resources and Analytics department on the final day of the internship.
