💼 Past Experience

I have been working in the food production industry for over 10 years.I have been working at bigHouse Produce since 2012 as the C.E.O.I have been working to shift the whole industry to hydroponic production. bigHouse Produce is one of the few large companies in the United States that is using hydroponic production methods to provide their food products.The first step in switchover to hydroponic production is to redesign the entire transportation system. We are importing many of the instruments and machines used in traditional agriculture, so we have to redesign all of the transportation chains and systems to be able to use the hydroponic production methods. initially, the main challenge was to get the equipment into the production facilities. We have a lot of equipment from Hong Kong, but it was not properly unloaded and had to be checked and registered in each production facility. After we finished the first phase, we set up a transportation system for our equipment so that it could be brought in, unloaded, and registered in one place. Finally, we had to get the whole food production chain totally renovated to use hydroponic production methods. We replacedintensive physical operations with automated systems and software that take care of everything from irrigation to in-packaging.We are currently in the final stages of finishing the renovation, and our product lines are starting to become very stabilized with the new technology. We are starting to see some leadership changes in the industry, with companies starting to use hydroponic production methods. There is a lot of innovation happening in this industry, and we are starting to see some major innovations come through.

KC Hydroponic Life's current education:Doctorate in Applied Sciences, apparently working on a PhD now. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Communications from ITT Technical Institute Los Angeles in 1993-1995 and Electronics Engineering from ITT Technical Institute Los Angeles in September 1990-September 1992. I also have an Associate of Science in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from College of the Desert from September 1990-September 1992. I am currently a High School Diploma, General Studies major at Palm Desert High School.
