Born in India to an educationally unstable family, Jyo Gaikwad's journey began in earnest at the age of 5 when he was taken by his parents to Chennai to study Fine Arts. Gaikwad'suala with artistically minded friends of his family started him on a pathway which lead him originally to study Fine Arts at Sri Krishnadevaraya University. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies in Fine Arts, Gaikwad worked as a software engineer for a local company for 3 years, during which time he ongoing his studies at theUniversity of Maine in the United States. After completing his undergraduate studies, Gaikwad returned to India and started his own graphic design business. Gaikwad's strategy for pursuing a career in graphic design is to focus on his passion and uncompromisingly pursue it to the fullest extent possible. He takes great pride in his art and takes on every project with high hopes that it will be the best work of his career. Gaikwad has an unwavering belief that good design can make a positive impact on people's lives and believes that education is the key to unlocking the potential of creative minds. A major focus of his work is to support and empower underprivileged students in India and abroad, as well as to improve professional skills for civilian and professional alike. Gaikwad is currently working on a new project which will address a critical issue in the Indian educational system- the lack of access to quality education for low-income students. The project will createfundamentaldesignchangewithintheEducationSysteminIndia,and provide for the access of quality education for all children, regardless of caste, creed, or destination.
