💼 Past Experience

From its early days as a small startup, AspenCore was always on the lookout for talented journalists who could help us grow. After a few rounds of interviews and a R&D trip to Japan, we landed on Junko Yoshida as our Global Editor in Chief in 1990. After 10 years of experience as a beat reporter and bureau chief, Junko came to AspenCore with a wealth of knowledge about technology and its impact on the world. From helping to develop MPEG technology standards to regularly breaking news and analysis on all the breaking news in the tech industry, Junko was a huge asset to our team. She was also highly respected within the company, and many of our employees have always called her an amazing leader and mentor.In her time at AspenCore, Junko developed an international PR team, worked with Tokyo correspondents of major publications such as the New York Times, the Economist, and the Wall Street Journal, and interpreted/translated for Shizuo Takano and Yuma Shiraishi, who both played a major role in inventor and business development of the VHS - the global standard of home VCR system. Her Contributions to AspenCore cannot be understated, and we are grateful for her contributions over the years.Junko is currently the Chief International Correspondent at EE Times, responsible for the overall global expansion of the EE Times brand and presence, both editorial and events. She has a wealth of experience in running a news organization, both as an editor and as a senior correspondent, and her skills as a leader and mentor are unmatched. We are grateful for her skills and contribution to EE Times.

🎓 Education

Junko Yoshida started her education at the University of Tsukuba in 1993. She majored in Sociology and Sociolinguistics. After getting her degree, Yoshida moved to Kyoto University in 2000. She majored in Social Science and also earned a Master's of Science from Kyoto University in 2001. Yoshida then moved to the National University of Singapore in 2006. She currently holds a Doctor of Psychology degree from the National University of Singapore.Yoshida has been working as an independent researcher since her arrival to Singapore in 2006. She has published several scientific papers in journals such as " Psychological Science" and " Journal of Experimental Social Psychology". Yoshida is currently working on a research project which will focus on studying the effects of feedback on the working memory of doctoral students.Yoshida is very well- preparations for working in the field of psychology. She has a great deal of experience with working with research teams and has a strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Yoshida is always willing to take on new challenges and has a quick response time. She is also very confident in her own skills and is always looking to learn more.

She is an excelent problem solver and is able to come up with creative solutions to problems. She has been able to balance her work and personal life successfully in the past.
