I also designed webpages and online application forms with HTML/CSS/JS and occasional Google Charts and designed and implemented Python and bash monitoring scripts. From August 2013 to May 2015 (1 year 10 months) Software Engineering Intern @ Worked to instrument and display real-time metrics from a variety of sources (including Hadoop, Pig, and Spark) using Flume, Kafka, Logstash, ElasticSearch, and Kibana. Used Apache Spark and SparkSQL to parse and perform interactive queries on large (100's GB - 1 TB) data sets and wrote custom utilities. Also attended Spark Summit 2014.
