•Social Media and Internal Communications – Consulted and wrote content for employee/candidate communications to shape the story of T-Mobile.

EVP Development and Employer Brand
•Consulted to parent company to build a global EVP with local alignment.
•Led the development of our local EVP for T-Mobile to drive brand awareness, talent attraction and retention. Collaborated with marketing, corp. comm. and recruiting to align with company brand and business strategy. Conducted research and designed EVP in three months. From 2010 to 2012 (2 years) Director of Employee Engagement and Branding @ Reporting to the SVP / VP of HR, consulted on engagement efforts to strengthen culture for 7,000 / 14,000 employees while ensuring the company's mission, guiding principles, and vision were reflected in initiatives.
Engagement Strategy and Measurement
•Engagement - Created employee experiences and shaped cultural programs. Developed engagement communications for Safeco’s people strategy and HR objectives. Communicated the company strategy and leadership traits to guide and influence employee understanding, engagement and performance.
•Employee Survey – Analyzed survey results, created presentations, action plans and designed the next survey.
•Recognition – Launched Safeco’s new program with an online tool, branding, communications, and training. 10,000 rewards were given in two weeks. Developed Liberty’s HR awards and supported the corporate RFP.
•HR Communications - Developed HR newsletter, events and messages. Developed HR’s department brand “ONE HR” to communicate Safeco’s People Strategy.
•Community Relations - Organized Liberty’s sponsorship of the Heart Walk and Beat the Bridge events.
•Developed Safeco’s first ever Employee Value Proposition and EB Strategy in 45 days and launched within three months. Created signature experiences to deliver on the EVP promise. Collaborated with marketing and recruiting to align with company brand and launched a career website in 30 days.

Led the strategy, design, implementation, communications, agency relationships, metrics, $9M budget.
Employment Brand Marketing Strategy
•Brand – Developed EVP brand position, personality, creative and messaging in alignment to consumer brand.
•Career Website – Designed and launched an external career website in 2006 (refreshed in 2007) and launched a new internal career website in 2005 (refreshed it in 2007).
•Collateral – Developed over 30 collateral pieces for candidate segmentations: retail, college, military, customer, referrals, events and applicant packets.
Sourcing and Advertising Strategy
•Sourcing – Conducted market and candidate research and made media and measurement recommendations. Negotiated media and managed the advertising agency. In Q1 2007, increased applications by 88% and website visits by 48%. Increased diversity sourcing by 75%. The 2006 Customer Service strategy increased internet hires by 50% and decreased print costs by 50%.
•Internal Mobility – Redesigned internal transfer and promotion program, policy and process.
•Employee Referrals – Designed a new program that increased ERP hires from 31% to 43% in nine months.
•Systems – Implemented four sourcing systems and integrated our ATS and job posting tool in 2007. Resulted in a 70% decrease in time to post positions and a 75% decrease in time to apply.
•Communications and Events – Developed media relations as spokesperson to external media. Built PR strategy with ROI from zero to 30 articles in one year including Seattle Magazine, Universum and NACE Awards. Managed job fairs to decrease costs by over $100K in 2005.
