I am a full-time academic at Big Bend Press where I am the author of award winning book The Optimal Dose: Restore Your Health With the Power of Vitamin D3. I have been working as an author and full-time faculty member in the industry of alternative medicine since 2003. I have been working as a founding director and director of the Pain Management Clinic of Corpus Christi from June 2013 to October 2016, and I am also the founder and director of The Pain Management Clinic of Laredo from February 1994 to October 2016. I also am a member of the Tejas Club from January 1979 to January 1984.I have authored over fifty books and journal publications, and I have received over two hundred awards. My work has been cited over 190 times in academic journals. I am an award-winning book author, an invited speaker at many scientific meetings, and I have been a visiting professor at several universities.

Judson SomervilleMD has a Doctor of Medicine (MD), from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and he has also earned a BsChE from The University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Somerville has been practicing medicine for over 25 years and he has had a great deal of experience in the field of medicine. He has been a Doctor of Medicine (MD), since 1984, and has spent the majority of his career at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. During his time at UT Houston, Dr. Somerville taught chemical engineering, and he also served as the program director of the engineering program at the hospital.After leaving UT Houston, Dr. Somerville continued his practice in Houston, and he soon made a name for himself as aspecialist in the field of medical marijuana. In 1998, he founded Texas Hippocrates Insurance company, and he continues to serve as the company’s President and CEO.Aside from his professional career in medicine, Dr. Somerville also has a number of other interests and hobbies. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, and he is also a member of the Houston Steppingstones Society.

dishonestJudson Somerville MD has been indicted on two counts of False Claims Act for making false statements in a filing with the United States for a medical device company. According to the complaint, Somerville made false statements in a filing with the United States for the medical device company, receiving payments from that company in return for diagnostic services he provided. Somerville is also charged with eight counts of wire fraud, five counts of computer fraud, and five counts of making false statements in a tax return. If convicted on all of the charges, Somerville could be sentenced to up to five years in prison and/or a $250,000 fine.
