Jozua Knol served as Managing Director of Gazprom Energy GmbH (Power Retail B2C / B2B) from 2011 to 2014. He has significant experience in building strong management teams and offers a broad leadership perspective on strategic issues facing companies today and provides in-depth operational knowledge as a long-serving director of various companies including international sales development and marketing (off- and online) expertise. Jozua began his career in marketing (sales marketing / direct marketing) and sales in Germany. After several years as European sales manager for Kingsway Publications UK and Frontline Records Label Manager (A&R/Marketing & Sales), he joined CBS Records (now Sony Music) Frankfurt in 1988 where he served as Head of the Classical Music division Germany. Jozua was appointed Managing Director of DSB Schallplatten Berlin in 1993, the previously state-owned East German record company, overseeing the restructuring of the company. He joined Bertelsmann Music Group International as European Sales & Marketing Director in 1994, named Vice President Sales & Marketing Europe in 1996. He became residential lecturer at the Polytechnic College of Salzburg, Austria and supporting the local media industry settlement policy in Salzburg before he re-joined Bertelsmann again in 2000 as Director Music Product and Site Design of Bertelsmann’s E-Commerce arm “Bol.de”. After the integration of Bol into the Bertelsmann Direct Group he served as Head of Non-Book Germany, Switzerland & Austria of “Der Club”. Since 2005 Jozua has held senior management positions as Head of Marketing Cable & Digital TV of Kabel Deutschland and COO Ticketmaster Germany. He co-owned and initiated the online Photo Art platform “Coonst.com” and has been a frequent speaker.
