Principal User Experience Designer @ Responsible for the user experience design of Informatica Cloud, a multi-tenant cloud-based platform that automates data integration between cloud-based applications, on-premise applications and databases, and flat files. Conducted user research (including customer interviews, prototype evaluations, online surveys, and usability tests) and created UI designs for seventeen major product releases. The Spring 2014 release introduced the Cloud Mapping Designer which allows developers to create flexible, parameterized mappings within a web browser. Business users may create data integration tasks based on these parameterized mappings with an easy-to-use wizard interface. Informatica Cloud was honored by Salesforce customers as the best data integration application on the AppExchange five years in a row (2008-2012).
Led the effort to document UI design patterns for Informatica 9 on-premise enterprise web applications. Conducted user research and created UI designs for Informatica Administrator 9, a web application that allows system administrators to configure and monitor all Informatica services. Conducted user research and created UI designs for Informatica Analyst 9, a web application that allows business analysts to profile data sources and create data quality rules and scorecards, mapping specifications, and reference tables. From December 2007 to Present (7 years 11 months) Redwood City, CASenior User Interface Designer, Quicken Health @ Designed and documented a pattern-based UI framework and several essential features for Quicken Health Expense Tracker, a cloud-based application that enabled consumers to better manage their families' medical expenses and health histories by downloading benefits and claims from participating insurance companies and organizing all of their healthcare information in one place. From May 2006 to October 2007 (1 year 6 months) Menlo Park, CAUser Interface Designer, User Experience @ Designed and documented several UI building blocks for SAP Business ByDesign web applications, including enterprise search, find forms, input and value help, learning and help centers, and message handling. Worked with a global team of application UI designers, development engineers, and solution managers to ensure that these UI building blocks were technically feasible and met customer requirements.
