💼 Past Experience

Joshua Rose has been in the editorial position at both American Fine Art Magazine (AFA) and Native American Art Magazine (NAAM) since September of last year. In this position, he oversees the production of both the print and digital editions of American Fine Art Magazine. Additionally, he is also responsible for the editorial content of Western Art Collector, which is a magazine satire of the art industry in the Phoenix metropolitan area.NAAM is a publication for artists of Navajo and Native American descent. It was founded in 1989 and has since published nearly fifty issues.While at AFA, Rose worked on a number of submissions for various exhibitions, including the 2003Exhibition of American Indian art, which was curated by Diane Ackerman. He also worked on the 2010 Submission for the Smithsonian American Art Museum's African American Art program.Rose is currently working on his eleventh book of photography, which is a monograph of Navajo roses. The photographs will be featured in the book's posterior and will be shot in the Spring of 2020. Additionally, he is a contributing photographer to the upcoming book American Indian art: A History. This book is a survey of the history and production of Native American artwork in America.Joshua Rose is a very passionatephotographer andeditorialist.
