I have experience in software development on the whole, not just web development. I have a degree in engineering from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and a two-year certification in responsible engineering.

🎓 Education

Joshua Richardson has a Lawrence Technological University (LTC) degree in Computer Science from 1996. He then went on to secure a Master's degree in Computer Science from Boston University in 1999. Joshua then worked as a software engineer for a company in Rochester, New York from 1999 to 2000.Joshua then returned to Boston University for two more years as a PhD student in Computer Science from 2002 to 2004. During this time, Joshua developed a three-year research project in the field of artificial intelligence. This project was funded by the DARPA and it was during this time that Joshua first saw the potential of robotaxis, or advanced robot movements. Joshua then returned to Rochester, New York to finish his PhD and become a post-doctoral associate at the University of Rochester.Since Joshua's return to Rochester in 2004, he has had multiple positions as a post-doctoral associate, research scientist and now as an adjunct professor. Overall, Joshua has spent over twelve years working on various AI projects. Joshua is currently a principal investigator of a four-year project at the MIT Media Lab which is focused on the development of machine learning algorithms for interactive experience design.
