I am a contract front-end developer, and I am always keeping an eye out for new opportunities and exciting projects. I code mostly with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP. I have worked with a lot of major frameworks and libraries including Wordpress, Bootstrap, Foundation, ExpressionEngine, and Polymer. I am familiar with a variety of tools and software including Git, Grunt, Gulp, Bower, NPM, Yeoman, Brackets, Linux, the command line, Team Foundation Server, and JIRA.
I wrote professionally about video games for four years. I started off with a small personal blog, then I began volunteering for smaller sites, and eventually became a contributor for Destructoid, one of the biggest independently owned gaming sites. I have also contributed to Bitmob (now GamesBeat) and Front Towards Gamer.

It's mostly news stories, but I do some reviews and previews too. From June 2011 to May 2014 (3 years) Shift Lead @ Opening and closing the store, performing daily store tasks, keeping the store clean, and making sure customers are satisfied. From May 2012 to May 2013 (1 year 1 month) Electonics @ Providing our guests with knowledgeable service about video games and consumer electronics. From May 2012 to December 2012 (8 months) Supervisor @ I worked in customer service and in the back room. I was responsible in ensuring that customer were happy with their visit to our store, and I also received shipments and prepared the merchandise for the sales floor.
A big part of my job was dealing with the public, but there were also a lot of administrative duties that I had to perform. I had to answer phones, prepare paperwork, train new employees, and perform daily store tasks. From September 2006 to May 2012 (5 years 9 months) PC Writer and Editor @ I write about PC games. I write witty news articles for current stories, highly opinionated reviews, and rant filled editorials. From April 2010 to August 2011 (1 year 5 months)
