Front-end Developer by day, writer by night, and a really hoopy frood. I am a contract front-end developer, and I am always keeping an eye out for new opportunities and exciting projects. I code mostly with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP. I have worked with a lot of major frameworks and libraries including Wordpress, Bootstrap, Foundation, ExpressionEngine, and Polymer. I am familiar with a variety of tools and software including Git, Grunt, Gulp, Bower, NPM, Yeoman, Brackets, Linux, the command line, Team Foundation Server, and JIRA. I wrote professionally about video games for four years. I started off with a small personal blog, then I began volunteering for smaller sites, and eventually became a contributor for Destructoid, one of the biggest independently owned gaming sites. I have also contributed to Bitmob (now GamesBeat) and Front Towards Gamer.

I was responsible in ensuring that customer were happy with their visit to our store, and I also received shipments and prepared the merchandise for the sales floor. A big part of my job was dealing with the public, but there were also a lot of administrative duties that I had to perform.
