💼 Past Experience

Born and raised in the Bronx, Joseph Definately had a love for the NYPD and always loved the excitement of going on investigations. As a police sergeant at the precinct where he grew up, Joseph worked with detectives in the Violent Crime and Gang Division and enjoyed providing leadership and training to his fellow officers. After several years ofageny management in the non-profit world, Joseph found his current passion in nonprofit organization management. He has been managing organizations for over a decade and has been involved in a variety of setting, from hunger relief to healthcare access. He has a strong interest in developing partnerships and working collaboratively with other organizations to improve the quality of life for people in need. In his free time, Joseph enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.

Joseph Imperatrice has a background in high school education. He studied at College of Staten Island, where he received a high school diploma, a high school/secondary diploma and a certificates in education. He is also a graduate of St. Charles Elementary School, where he received his academic degree in October 1993.

Mr. Imperatrice has over 10 years of experience in the non-profit organization management industry. He has experience as a Founder and Chief Operating Officer of a non-profit organization, as a Sergeant-Detective, and most recently as a Police Sergeant at the NYPD.In his career, Mr. Imperatrice has been responsible for all aspects of running a non-profit organization, from developing and managing programs to managing budgets and manpower. He has also successfully applied his management skills to multiple organizations, in both the private and public sectors.As a Founder and Chief Operating Officer of BLUE LIVES MATTER-NYC, Mr. Imperatrice is currently working to helphmets thousands of people who are living in poverty in New York City. He is also working to create a stronger relationship between the NYPD and the New York City Bar Association, in order to improve the NYPD's interactions with the legal community.
