Hamlin feels passionate about helping others and saw the potential in education to do just that. After completing his undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College in 1987, Hamlin then pursued a career in education, first coming toSC in 2003 to complete a Master's of Science in Product Design, engineering design and construction. Hamlin then moved on to the University of South Carolina in 2009, where he completed a Doctor of Science degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. Hamlin's educational background allows him to provide preventative and corrective action on educational problems, with a focus on early identification, growth, and relationship mounting needs for young students and their families.
