Trimble was an experienced safety manager who had been with the company for 5 months when he took his own life.According to fellow employees, Trimble was a very hardworker and had a very important role in the safety of the company. One employee said, “Jonathan was one of the more demanding safety drivers that we had and he always did a great job shining the light on things that were wrong. He was always looking for ways to make sure that the drivers were doing their job the best way possible. And he always wanted to ensure that the company was doing everything it could to promote good safety practices.” Trimble's family has created a GoFundMe page to help paying for his funeral and memorial expenses. With just over $7,000 toward the goal, the page has already had a total of $19,330 raised.

Jonathan Trimble's education has provided him with strong technological and educational foundation that he is able to use in his current role as a webmaster at Checkpoint Software. This foundation also allowed him to develop his own creativity and project management skills.Jonathan Trimble started his education by enrolling in school at Trinity High School in 1998. He had been homeschooled since the age of three. Trimble graduated from Trinity High School in 2000 with a High School Diploma. After high school, Trimble studied at Robinson High School in 1998-1999.Jonathan Trimble has attended several technical colleges and universities, most notably, at Robinson High School. There, he received his undergraduate degree in 1998 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Trimble then earned his graduate degree in Information Technology from the University of Missouri at Columbia in 2003.Upon earning his degrees from these schools, Trimble placed himself in the industry space, first working as a costumer support specialist for a software company, eventually becoming the webmaster for Checkpoint Software. The skills, education and experiences that he has learned from these institutions have helped him achieve his current role in the company.

• Follow-up with drivers to ensure loads have been picked up and delivered.• Work with accounting to follow-up on invoices in which are aging and determine which brokerage firms are repeatedly delinquent on making payments in a reasonable manner and blacklist them as needed to prevent further bookings with such brokerage firms.• Assist dispatchers with trucks in which are difficult areas to come out of.• Address driver, dispatcher and broker's concerns and issues and bring them to upper managements attention if it requires attention.• Improve and build working relations with various brokers at different brokerage firms to develop a go-to contact for each firm.• Step in and Dispatch Drivers whenever a dispatcher is absent or retired.• Train new potential dispatchers & existing on how to effectively negotiate and dispatch drivers to achieve a higher level of success.• Review weekly bookings for each driver and see if target thresholds are being met and if not, find out why and make necessary adjustments as needed to correct it.• Responsible for overseeing and managing a team of several Dispatchers.• Have experience with reefer and dry van freight.
