Appellate Advocacy and Legal Writing From August 2010 to May 2013 (2 years 10 months) Summer Associate @ Research, Drafting, and Client Interaction in regards to complex transnational litigation and transactional matters for Bankruptcy, Private Equity, Environmental, Securities Litigation, Project Finance, Bank Finance, Real Estate, Structured Finance, and Corporate Practice Groups. Also engaged in client interviews, affidavit drafting, research, and drafting for Pro Bono Asylum Practice Group. From May 2012 to August 2012 (4 months) Legal Extern - Energy & Environment @ Serving the Long Island Power Authority, a municipal utility corporation, my duties include legal research, drafting legal memorandi, consulting on environmental regulatory issues, ensuring compliance with federal grant programs, maintaining audit records for internal programs, responding to Freedom of Information Law requests, accompanying personnel on facility reviews, and preparing legal strategies with outside counsel.
Major projects included exposure to ARRA grant funding protocols under NYSERDA and DOE, renewable energy deployment and certification, Greenhouse Gas Reporting Programs through EPA, and generating unit repowering strategies. From April 2011 to September 2011 (6 months) Sales Leader - North Bay California Region @ Manage training, sales, promotion and product growth in North Bay Region through implementation of programs aimed at facilitating personnel and sales growth. Grew @Home core penetration at average monthly increase of 50% and delivered highest customer satisfaction index results with 98% satisfaction deliverable over 6 quarters. From January 2007 to July 2010 (3 years 7 months) Operations Manager @ Turn-key management of in-line wireless retail dealer servicing customers and products from AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile and Verizon. Responsible for all aspects of operation and transitioned location from third in gross sales and gross revenue to first in initial 4 months. Growth maintained until departure for corporate T-Mobile position. From January 2004 to January 2007 (3 years 1 month) Sales Manager @ Oversaw sales, marketing and training for 19 Cingular Wireless agent locations in Sacramento, San Joaquin Valley and East Bay. Sales techniques instituted included four on the floor customer service teams, 24 hour call back assurances and regional B2B marketing.
