💼 Past Experience

Prior to joining HDR in December 2017, Jon P.E. had been a transportation planner, project manager, and risk management consultant with all levels of government for the last 38 years. His experience in the transportation planning and management industries includes three decades at the private sector including twelve years as a manager of a large transportation project with a budget in the trillions of dollars.Jon P.E. has written and lectured on transportation planning and risk management principles for transportation professionals and government officials. He has also developed and presented original transportation risk management solutions which have been implementation tested at local, state and national levels.

🎓 Education

Jon P.E. has a B.A. in Literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder. However, his real education began much earlier, as he graduated from high school in 1989. Jon P.E. then attended the University of Utah where he earned a J.D. in 1991. Afterward, he served as a law clerk to Judge Harry P. Maloney of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado.In 2001, Jon P.E. moved to Boston, MA, and became a partner at Bird & Holmes LLP. There he continues to practice law, as well as serve as a shareholder, director, and angel investor in various start-up companies.In addition, Jon has been busy working on his own projects. In 2003, he released his first book, "A Rite of Passage: A Memoir of Faith, edited by Chip McGrath and Scott Shackford." That same year, he also published "The Defining Moment: How Ordinaryordinary People Change the World."
