💼 Past Experience

I was a Senior Technical Recruiter at Postmates from January 2015 to February 2016 and it was a great experience to work with a team of recruiters, sourcers and recruiting coordinators. We were responsible forointing and processed Requisitions, and helped to drive growth for our company. I enjoyed working with the team and having a strong collaborative environment. I also had the opportunity to work with the University Relations Specialist at Northrop Grumman Corporation from June 2013 to December 2014 and it was a great experience to work with colleges and student organizations to develop and hire the best new graduate and intern talent. I was also responsible for providing content for social media, running student technology competitions, and representing Northrop Grumman at professional and diversity conferences. I was a Technical Recruiter at Northrop Grumman Corporation from June 2008 to June 2013 and it was a great experience to work with a wide variety of engineers and technologists for missile defense, battle command system and classified programs. I was also responsible for administering the full-life cycle of Requisitions, starting with identified needs based on program proposals to ensuring candidates show up for orientation. Additional roles were diversity representative, interim team lead, career fair lead, applicant tracking system trainer and administrator for the intern program. I was also responsible for HR Management Associates Program at Northrop Grumman Corporation from June 2006 to June 2008 and I hobbled around a rotational program where I held the roles of human resources generalist, compensation analyst and technical recruiter. I harmonized policies to enable a group of programs to transfer from one division to another, provided leadership and interviewing skills training classes, and worked on special projects supporting the 5,300 person organization. I also conducted a data collection study on employee referrals and I maintain data for recruiting reports. Overall, I had a great experience working with Postmates and Cruise Automation.

Jon Hansen's education has provided him with a strong knowledge of business administration. After graduating from Purdue University, Jon worked as a human resources manager and then as a business analyst at Utah Valley University. He has since begin his work career as a full-time employee at The Neiman Marcus Company, where he is currently the human resources and training head. Jon is highly experienced in managing people and is highly dissatisfied with the current state of jobseeker education in the United States. He is passionate about changing this situation and believes that through his work at The Neiman Marcus Company, he could play a significant role in accomplishing this goal.
