💼 Past Experience

Clifton was born in 1957 and raised in the small town of West Allis, Wisconsin. He earned a B.S. degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.Clifton worked in various management consulting companies before joining the Gallup Corporation in September 1988 as the Corporate Vice President for Consulting. He held this position until December 1993 when he was promoted to the position of Global Managing Partner.Clifton was part of the executive team that developed and led the Gallup Corporation’s core marketing research business, which is now known as the GallupConsulting Division. He was responsible for all aspects of marketing research including market research, market analysis, and public opinion polling.Clifton also played a significant role in developing the Gallup brand and was responsible for all aspects of Gallup’s imaging and communication endeavors, including creating the Gallup brand strategy, managing the company’s marketing budget, and developing and executing Gallup’s brand objectives.Clifton is a die-hard Packers fan, and he has been known to wear #11 Packers jerseys at home.

Jon Clifton's education includes a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in October 2022, and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Nebraska College of Law in October 2022. He has worked extensively in the Fields of Legal Practice and Corporate Law, in both Legal and Public Practice.
