I love to build high-growth SaaS companies.
I have been involved with nearly a dozen such venture-backed technology businesses as a Co-founder, C-Level Executive (CEO, COO, CFO, CCO), Advisor or Board Director over the past 15+ years.
I am a three-time company Founder/CEO, with one company subsequently acquired for $67mm and another profitably operating after 10+ years. More recently, I have joined founder teams at the C-Level to help scale those organizations for sustainable growth.
My entrepreneurial experiences are diverse, ranging from being an Idealab CEO (PayMyBills.com) to launching a company when I was 25 years old within the conglomerate GE (CRE-NET: The Commercial Real Estate Network). They also span many industries including: payments, location-based services (LBS), real estate, wireless.
I have an established track record in identifying market opportunities, raising venture capital (over $100mm) and delivering innovative products and services to market. These products have been used by tens of thousands of businesses and millions of consumers.
Equally important, I am proud of the quality of the organizations I have helped develop. The companies I have been involved with have repeatedly won awards for “Best Place to Work”. They also have been able to attract and develop world-class teams, with half a dozen former direct reports going on to become first-time CEOs of private equity backed organizations.
I am passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship. I am a frequent university lecturer on the subject and an active volunteer mentor in the community.
