From February 2011 to May 2012 (1 year 4 months) Consultant - USA @ Working with McKinney Rogers North America clients to implement business strategies. Mainly served at Walmart US driving the cascade of the business strategy from the Chief Operations Officer to the market and store level within Walmart's US operations. From March 2010 to May 2012 (2 years 3 months) Project Manager @ As the first Project Manager for the foundation part of my role apart from day to day project management work included launching of the foundation in a memorable and with great impact that would drive buy-in from a big part of the population. The foundation has so far delivered on it is key pillars including making the whole of Barbados a free WiFi spot. From June 2010 to September 2010 (4 months) Strategic Projects Manager @ Led two key strategic projects that the business was using to define new paths for expansion and more in-depth understanding of our customers' business. From September 2009 to February 2010 (6 months) MBA - Student @ MBA in General Management From 2008 to 2009 (1 year) Group Strategy and Business Planning Analyst @ Conducting business and analysis plus research which guided the strategy development, formulation and implementation. Managed the strategy implementation calendar and reporting for the group. Co-produced the quarterly board strategy updates that guided the board on our strategic direction, options as well as how we were performing on the strategic initiatives that the company had invested in. Delivered a long term contract and negotiations which saved the business over 20% on energy spend despite escalating cost of energy. As Executive Assistant to the CEO, I was an apprentice who did several duties including researching, liaison with the CEOs direct reports on key deliverables and building powerful presentations used in communicating strategy to the rest of the group. Served in the Executive committee as an apprentice responsible for ensuring value adding meetings for the team.
