In these positions, John emphasized sales training and technical support for his clients. John also played a major role in developing the salesforce for the company’s new iDataBase product. While at Oracle, John was also the original inventor of the Java Resources Management Protocol and was one of the first contributors to the Java API. In October 1996, John took a leave of absence from the company to become the Regional Director for North America at Vantive. While at Vantive, John was responsible for developing and waging Voyant’s sales force in the North American market.John also has experience in the Technical Director (PreSales) and Director, eBusiness Systems positions at Clarify. As Technical Director for PreSales at Clarify, John was responsible for developing and executing strategies for sales and marketing in the company’s eBusiness Systems.
