Joelle is a writer, editor and public relations maven. Before joining CPR, she founded an all-female staffed ‘zine that transitioned into a popular indie lifestyle website and Internet TV show, reporting on “what’s hot and what’s important.” She produced, hosted and edited segments with international superstars, including Thirty Seconds to Mars and David Garrett, stood whiskers away from endangered tigers while reporting on their plight, and organized events to benefit shelter dogs.
She launched her own music PR firm, coordinated celebrity judges and public relations for The Independent Music Awards, scouted bands for major record labels and worked as a casting associate for the hit Animal Planet TV show “It’s Me or the Dog.” Joelle also formed and currently oversees an online support group for people living with Epstein Barr and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
As a PR pro, Joelle has landed clients on MTV (“Jersey Shore,” “Real World”), Showtime, The New York Times, AOL Radio, Wall Street Journal and Forbes. As a journalist, her articles have appeared on Huffington Post Divorce, The Nest, Teen People and Venus ‘Zine – to name a few.
Joelle’s book, Trash the Dress: Stories of Celebrating Divorce in your 20s, has been featured in International Business Times, The Sydney Morning Herald (Australia), Maclean’s (Canada), The Globe and the Mail (Canada), and on The Style Network and Dr. Oz’s YouBeauty.com.
