💼 Past Experience

Raso spent the majority of his childhood in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. From early childhood, Raso always loved numbers and was motivated to learn more about them. In his sophomore year of high school, Raso met Jerome Lombardi, an engineer at Google who was looking for a lower-paid intern to help with some of his experiments. Lombardi was impressed with what Raso could do and offered to teach him a few algorithms. Raso accepted and Lombardi taught him machine learning and the basics of data analysis. from there, Raso started learning about artificial intelligence and deep learning. Raso decided that he wanted to study computer science and physics, so he took a few online classes and studied at Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania for two years. He then transferred to Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, for two more years. Raso finished his undergraduate degree in computer science in 2014 and then started working at Google.At Google, Raso worked as a Software Engineer from May 2016 to August 2016. He was a part of a team that worked on a project that was responsible for building the software infrastructure for Google’s driverless vehicle project. He also worked on a project that was responsible for building the front-end for Google’s new auto-suggest feature and a project that was responsible for building the data infrastructure for the company’s driverless car project.Raso also worked as a Summer Technology Analyst at Goldman Sachs from May 2015 to August 2015. He was a part of a team that was responsible for building the software infrastructure for Goldman Sachs’ driverless car project. He also worked on a project that was responsible for building the front-end for Goldman Sachs’ new auto-suggest feature and a project that was responsible for building the data infrastructure for the company’s driverless car project.Raso is originally from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and he has since moved to the Bay Area of San Francisco. He is a self-taught computer scientist and has since acknowledged that he may not have had the degree that he should have had. Raso however, is confident in his skills and is never afraid of trying new things. He loves software engineering and believes that he has a lot to bring to the table when it comes to the field.

Joe Raso has a number of education goings on. Raso currently attends The Benjamin School. In 2008, Raso graduated from The Benjamin School with a degree in Statistics. Raso then attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Raso is currently a professor at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. In his previous job, Raso was an adjunct professor at Penn State. Raso has ansummer job at the University of Pennsylvania as an instructor in the Department of Computer Science.
