From 1989 to 1994, Joe worked as a managing editor for the Baltimore Sun in Baltimore, Maryland. From 1994 to 1998, Joe was an executive editor at the Columbus Dispatch in Ohio. From 1998 to 2001, Joe was an editor for the Des Moines Register in Iowa. From 2001 to 2003, Joe was an editor for the New York Times in New York City. Joe currently is an Executive Editor at The Huffington Post.
