COO @ Commerzbank is about to start the banking business here as we are doing in many foreign locations, to support the German "Mittelstand" (medium size corporates). I am very happy, to be here in São Paulo, as opening a bank from the scratch is incomparable challenge, and give me and my colleagues here the opportunity to prove our banking knowledge in all areas of this business. It is starting with small things, like creating the premises with all needed facilities, going over to create the workflows for each and every process in a country, where all these processes are different than in other countries, and is still not ending with the complete governmental framework for all this. We are working to be well prepared when Commerzbank Brazil is opening it´s doors to our clients. Commerzbank will be here as well, the bank at your side (O banco a seu lado). First contact in Spain for authorities in Anti Money Laundering process. First contact for all other Western and Central European Branches in IT related issues as coordinator with central IT depts.
