Jimmy Stewart Allen was born on July 15, 1947 in Wichita, Kansas, to William James "Jimmy" and Jeannette (née Withrow) Stewart. Jimmy was the fifth of nine children. He was educated at Wichita's Le Verne High School and graduated in 1966.After high school, Jimmy Stewart Allen began his college education at the University of Houston- Clear Lake where he received his CIS, Computer Science degree in 1988. He later earned his AAS, Computer Programming degree from San Antonio College in 1981.Jimmy Stewart Allen's professional career begun in 1982 when he was hired as a programming and systems analyst by defense contractor Raytheon. He subsequently worked at the company for 27 years, retiring in 2000. During his career at Raytheon, Jimmy Stewart Allen developed many high-profile software products such as the Tomcat principal network corerer, the Telnet popular remote access tool, and the Userland UNIX operating system.Jimmy Stewart Allen is also a nine-time Emmy Award-winning actor with over 150 acting credit appearances.
