Private Bank IT @ From July 2015 to Present (6 months) Client Support Consultant @ Provide support for multiple clients' hosted SunGard Adaptiv Credit systems, which involves the maintenance of clients' live environments and resolution of any issues encountered on the system. My excellent understanding of my clients' business and their system throughout my daily interactions has enabled me to effectively prioritise my work depending on the urgency of the problems encountered. This in part has helped me to build and maintain a good relationship with clients' teams.
To meet client requirements and SunGard obligations, I ensure that Service Level Agreement (SLA) metrics are kept to avoid any financial loss to SunGard. This requires the research and replication of any software and hardware issues found to determine the workarounds and the eventual fix. Microsoft SQL Server jobs are regularly created for the workaround and automation of system monitoring. Any potential SLA breach and points of escalation are provided to my managers to keep them aware of the ongoing issues on the system.
I actively work with my clients and SunGard consultants to plan software releases. This includes almost all aspects of the development cycle, which includes the analysis of the business user requirements to determine what's required; assistance with testing of the software to ensure that requirements are met; deployment of the software to live servers.
I am a part of the 24x7 team that supports multiple other client systems not of my own. This is achieved with the help of internal knowledge bases which I actively maintain to provide concise and accurate information. I have used my experience in 24x7s to improve my own client systems and have provided suggestions to my colleagues of improvements to their system that I've found.
Other experience includes the planning and organisation of Disaster Recovery (DR) tests and DR invocation.
