💼 Past Experience

In 2006, I graduated from National University with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. I worked as a software development manager at Amazon for four months. I then started working at SFELC in San Francisco, where I managed a nimble team of engineers working on building a new generation of business and payment platform. I then founded SFELC in April 2015, and lead the engineering team for Groupon’s payments division. I worked at Groupon for three years and seven months.

I have 14 years of engineering experience, 8 of which are in software engineering. In my previous work, I have worked inammadently with a single product, Amazon's web services. I have also managed a small team of engineers, working on a number ofiage projects. In my role at Amazon, IAMs led the design, development, and testing of a new payment processor for the Amazon website, called Amazon Payments. I also served as the primary architect for Amazon's nascent payments infrastructure, which handled merchant on-boarding, data entry, and reconciliation. In my previous roles, I have relied heavily on agile development tools and processes. Overall, my experience with agile development has helped me manage a complex projectefficiently. I am also experienced in working with other software development teams, which has come in handy in my current role at Groupon. In my role as Senior Engineering Manager at Groupon, I am responsible for leading the engineering of Breadcrumb Payments. This project focuses on developing a secure and reliable Payments solution for local merchants with very low cost. I use a suite of tools and processes to manage this project, which include agile development, effective communication, and task effectiveness.
