Jen Easterly was born in 1978 in Long Island, New York. She currently lives in New York City.Easterly earned her undergraduate degree from West Point in social sciences and economics in 2000. From there, she earned her graduate degree in national security from the National Security University in Washington D.C. in 2003.Easterly then worked as an instructor and assistant professor at West Point from 2000 to 2002. From 2003 to 2009, she was an executive angel investor in startups. From 2009 to 2013, she served as deputy director at the National Security Agency. From 2013 to 2017, she was Global Head of the Cybersecurity Fusion Center at Morgan Stanley. From there she was also responsible for leading the development and coordination of U.S. counterterrorism and hostage policy.Easterly is a Certified Cybersecurity Analyst and has worked in the field of data recovery and data incident response for over 10 years. She is also a certified instructor in the field of cyber security.
Jen Easterly has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point, as well as a Master's of Arts from the University of Oxford. She is currently working as an Economic Analyst for their global factory in Greater Manchester, England.
