Co-Founder @ Faire From August 2016 to December 2016 (5 months) Analyst @ Goldman Sachs From 2008 to 2008 (less than a year) New York, NYInternational intern @ Acción Emprendedora I lived in Chile and helped Acción Emprendedora, a non-profit focused on developing the SMB sector through education, technical training, and support in obtaining financing, assess the attractiveness of opening a lending subsidiary (i.e. becoming a bank). From 2009 to 2009 (less than a year) Santiago, ChileOperations lead, Caviar @ Square I joined Square less than a year after we publicly launched and was fortunate to hold a variety of leadership roles. These spanned product, business development, marketing, analytics, and business operations.-Most recently, led Operations for Caviar. Scaled a 100+ person team inclusive of logistic operations, sales and customer support. Improved service quality (pickup rates, NPS, etc.) while drastically reducing delivery times. -I also continued to support broader Square initiatives, including M&A, BoD materials, international expansion, etc. From January 2015 to July 2016 (1 year 7 months) Director, Business Development and Local Marketing & Sales @ Square -Led Business Development for Square, driving end-to-end partnerships across large merchants, distribution, product, etc. (e.g., Whole Foods, Comcast)-Built and managed Square's Platform team from the ground up and championed the launch of an open ecosystem for Square. Team led the launch of all API partnerships, early eCommerce products, and Square’s App Marketplace, our collection of third-party integrations that make it easier for merchants to run and grow their business. Responsible for strategy, product, marketing, partnerships, etc. for all APIs and related products.-Also led a 20+ person Local Marketing team inclusive of field sales, channel partnerships, and event marketing. From 2013 to 2015 (2 years) Head of Business Intelligence and Retail @ Square -Founded Square's Retail team and led expansion to dozens of partners and tens of thousands of doors across multiple countries and product lines. Grew team to manage BD, operations, analytics, marketing, etc. for channel across all retailers (e.g., Apple, Best Buy, Verizon, Staples, etc.).-Led Square's Business Intelligence team, responsible for both answering data-driven business questions and building data infrastructure for consumption by the company. From 2011 to 2013 (2 years) Business Analyst @ McKinsey & Company I worked across a range of functions and industries including tech, finance, retail, healthcare, and real estate. I was also a member of the SF office social committee, responsible for officewide Friday Lunch entertainment. In this role, I pioneered innovative gameshows such as “Are you Smarter than an Intern?” and “2 Truths and a Pie", a tepidly received program in which a contestant reveals two truths about themselves and is subsequently pied in the face. From 2009 to 2011 (2 years) San Francisco, CACo-owner @ Evolving Vox During college, I ran a furniture rental company. We rented a lot of futons. It was fun, and before we graduated we sold it for a substantial profit. From 2007 to 2009 (2 years) Hanover, NHCOO @ Faire Originally co-founded, left, came back. San Francisco Bay AreaConsumer @ Opendoor Alongside an awesome team, I helped scale Opendoor from 2 cities and buying a few homes a day to 20+ cities and serving ~3,000 customers a month with billions of dollars of annual transaction volume.Over this time I ran our growth efforts, leading a team across operations and go-to-market, including marketing (paid, product marketing, brand, organic, lifecycle, content), business development, customer experience (sales, support, onboarding, fulfillment) and local comms.
