We've applied a DevOps approach to deploying and maintaining our code resulting in faster deployment, higher quality code and faster responsiveness to issues in production. We leveraged new technology to us to produce a modern web service. I implemented a majority of our RESTful API that allows users to control the product.- Worked on the new RPC protocol in which separate parts of the product communicate. We utilized web-socket technology to leverage standard web technology for communication between processes. This allowed us to scale quickly leveraging existing infrastructure reducing need for high church upon upgrade.
