As the Head of Marketing for Unitek Education, one of the USA’s top IT and EMT training and certification providers, I am responsible for the optimization of Unitek Education’s website, and overseeing all inbound and outbound lead generation channels. In addition all paid programs and content strategy as well as lead generation, marketing integration, and performance reporting of all corporate marketing campaigns. My efforts include: Digital Strategy, SEO, PPC/SEM, Display Networks, Content Creation, and Distribution, Social Media (YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter), blogs, A/B and Multivariate testing, Microsoft CRM 2004 -2015, and the nation’s largest EMT and IT trade shows.
I came on board to Unitek Education to take over the marketing department to ensure lead flow would continue uninterrupted, but also improve lead quality and how they were obtained. Sponsorship of blogs (Spriceworks, Policetraining.net), attending trade shows, email marketing revamp, and webinars were just some of the early marketing strategies I implemented that saw an increase of leads by about 200%. I also run the marketing team so that projects and day to day activities can run smoothly and with the right people behind the right jobs.
Before Unitek Education I was the marketing manager at ThinkTank Learning where I overhauled the website, implemented industry best practices for SEO/SEM, and also conducted education seminars all over the bay area. I also implemented a strong marketing campaign for traditional media (radio, print, and television). Before ThinkTank I was at Fairway Golf USA which is an eCommerce company where I was the Marketing Director.
As the executive director of OnLife Prevention Organization, Inc., I founded and oversee the entire program which has grown with local high schools in the Southern California school districts, partner with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and raise awareness through teen support groups all over California.
