An early entrant to the digital media business Jed was most recently in charge of developing the strategy and execution plan for Collective Media. Responsible for scaling the US sales and account management/planning teams. Resulting in 100%+ growth.
Jed was a co-founder at ScanScout, Inc. who was acquired by Tremor Video. During the four+ years at ScanScout Jed oversaw and developed the sales strategy and US organization. ScanScout was named one of the world’s most valuable digital startup companies in 2010 and Best Video Ad Network by Digiday!
Jed was the Director of Business Development for eBay’s Strategic Partnerships unit. Responsible for opening eBay’s first ever East coast office in 2003 and was promoted to oversee the National Business Development and Media team for eBay’s Strategic Partnerships unit. Growth was 250%+ under his tenure.
Jed served for over four years with Microsoft’s MSN division, holding positions including Eastern Sales Director, National Sales Manager and General Manager of MSN Sales. Jed increased revenue 10-fold under his leadership.
Before joining Microsoft, Jed created the National Sales Team for CBS Sportsline, as Vice President of Sales. The company was successfully taken public with a market valuation of over $300 million.
As a founding member of the Internet Advertising Bureau, Jed has served on the Board of Directors for over six years and was also named one of MEDIA Magazine's 50 People You Should Know in Digital Media in 2004.
