Jason John Wiethe was born in March 1964 in Scotts Valley, CA. He is a mechanical engineering student at San Diego State University. Jason joined the San Francisco bay area startup scene at the ripe age of 25, when he helped found and direct the company that would become Twitter. Seven years previous, he had worked for a non-profit research organization, Cambridge Technology Partners, in San Mateo, CA. While at Cambridge, Jason designed and implemented customer relationships management and customer data mining software. Jason left Cambridge in 1998 to rejoin the startup world at SRA International in Arlington, VA, where he helped develop and manage technology alliances and partnerships around the world.
