From July 2013 to October 2017 (4 years 4 months) Greater Boston AreaVice President, Technology @ ESPN While at ESPN, I was responsible for managing enterprise wide digital efforts for the ESPN.com suite of sites with a team of over 100 developers spanning the globe. From September 2001 to November 2005 (4 years 3 months) Greater Los Angeles AreaSenior Vice President, Technology @ Putnam Investments Led the technology strategy, delivery of technical solutions and overall engagement with our Sales, Marketing and Operations divisions. Led Putnam’s transition to Agile Product Model. Included adoption of scaled agile frameworks and folded in routine Hackathon events to drive innovation. Created new IT Capabilities at Putnam by creating our first iOS dev team, a UX team, and co-founding our Data Science practice. From October 2017 to March 2019 (1 year 6 months) Director of Engineering, Platform Development @ Walt Disney Internet Group I led the media systems department that engineered core Disney software platforms used to serve billions of requests per month. The video platform developed by the team was used to power the 2006 Emmy award winning ABC video player. My responsibilities included client management, product roadmap development as well as staffing out a platform services consulting team that delivered turnkey solutions to other Disney divisions. From November 2005 to June 2008 (2 years 8 months) Senior Vice President, Technology @ Putnam Investments Manage a department with 15+ Agile teams and 100+ associates responsible for innovating and maintaining over 200 proprietary and third-party solutions.
