💼 Past Experience

I am originally from Northern California and have been living in New York City for the last year and a half. I am currently a staff engineer at Squarespace where I work on a wide range of engineering projects including but not limited to: designing, building, optimizing, and maintaining any space in which top-notch sound quality is an absolute must. Additionally, I am also a senior software engineer at ZX Ventures where I work on a wide range of software projects including but not limited to: the Squarespace App,Crossley Acoustics’ Blender, and Deep Focus’s Reactor.

🎓 Education

Jason Desiderio's education has prepared him well for his current role as a software engineer at Google. Desiderio's earlier education has helped him in his current work area and has helped him develop his skillset.Prior to his education at Sweet Home High School and SUNY Fredonia, Desiderio attended a public school in the town of East Hartford, Connecticut. He attended the small school where he studied voice, theater and music appreciation. He also studied data entry and programming.Jason Desiderio has always been a creative individual. While he attended Sweet Home High School, he formed a band and sang in the choir. He also worked on music scores and composed pieces for school plays.Following his education at Sweet Home High School, Jason Desiderio moved to Northern New York to attend Carrierita University. Carrierita University is a well-renowned business and engineering school that offers a variety of programs such as engineering, business, and computer programming. At Carrierita University, Jason Desiderio studied computer programming and audio production.After completion of his studies at Carrierita University, Jason Desiderio moved to Silicon Valley, California in 2011 to join Google. At Google, Jason Desiderio oversees the engineering team that creates and maintain the company's software.Jason Desiderio's experience and education have prepared him to be a successful software engineer. His education has also helped him develop his skillset in this career field and has helped him grow as a individual.

Jason Desiderio has spent the majority of his career working in engineering and system positions where he was responsible for developing, building and maintaining complex systems. Desiderio has a rich technical and technicalbackground, having held key technical positions at both Squarespace and Galaxy Smith Studios. His technical skills include experience within the fields of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development. Additionally, Desiderio has a strong understanding of Acoustic and Technical Components, having worked with both recording studios and audio systems.
