💼 Past Experience

Ever since he was a young child, Jarrod loved the Thought process. He found it curious and fun to model his life after Aristotle's philosophy. his creativity flowed from this passion and he found himself devoting even more time to his studies. Eventually he completed his undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies and Philosophy at the University of Utah. Upon leaving college, Jarrod deciding that it was time for a change. A job offer from Facebook came to him and he jumped at the chance. He had no trouble believing that he could make a difference in the company.He first started working at Facebook as an intern in early 2011. At that time, the company was in a pretty early stage and was just starting to Gather Data. While working at Facebook, Jarrod interviewed and hired many employees. He quickly realized that he was a great fit for the company and kept making the connection with his employees. In early 2012, Facebook decided to open up the hiring process to all employees. Jarrod applied and was offered the job. He was a little scared at first but decided to take the opportunity. After a yearlong interview process and due process, he was finally offered the job.Although it was a difficult decision to take the job, Jarrod is excited to be working at Facebook. In Facebook, he is able to be his true self and pursue his passion for the Thought process. He loves the company and the people that work there. He is grateful for the opportunity to work there and contribute to the company in any way possible.

Jarrod F. is a Sociology major with a minor in business.Prior to University of North Florida, Jarrod F. spent two years in Santa Clara, California studying at San Jose State University. There, Jarrod F. learned about business and management. In Santa Clara, Jarrod F. met someone that influenced his future work readiness, Matt Green. When Jarrod F. left Santa Clara, he was ready to study business.“Matt Green was one of the founders of Startup costs Santa Clara and founded Dropbox, so he had a lot of business knowledge,” Jarrod F. said. “I got to know him and his team and really felt a connection to them.”In business, Jarrod F. will be working at a startup. With this experience, Jarrod F. is well-prepared for the business world. In addition, Jarrod F. has completed an online course in business."I think that business is going to be my bread and butter," Jarrod F. said. "I've had a lot of experience with it, so I'm very prepared."Of course, there are many other fields that Jarrod F. can work in, as well. He is confident that he can do well in any field. Jarrod F. is ready to work and is excited to have a career in business.
