Jan has been in real estate for more than 10 years. Before founding Ad Meliora, Jan was in charge of the family’s Real Estate in Belgium. After more than doubling the Belgian turnover, he has led the successful expansion of his family into the US market in 2008. Soon, friends wanted him to invest their money, then friends of friends theirs and in 2011 Ad Meliora was created to accommodate this natural growth. The company grew so fast that in 2012 Jan, his wife and 2 kids, moved to Boston. He is a graduate from the University of Ghent of which he holds a Law Degree.
Besides being a successful businessman, Jan Steenbrugge is an accomplished musician with Violin and Conducting degrees from the Boston Conservatory and the Brussels Conservatory. He was conductor of the Bruocsella Symphony Orchestra in Brussels and still plays violin in amateur orchestras in and around Boston.
